1 & 2 Thessalonians

Most likely the earliest of Paul’s letters to the churches, 1 & 2 Thessalonians was written nearly a decade before any of the gospels. Paul wrote these letters to the church in Thessalonica to help them focus on appropriately preparing for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
