King Jesus

Jesus came to be King. But of course, not the king we’d expect. He doesn’t rule the way we would if we were king. His ways are not our ways. His kingdom, by our standards, is upside down and backwards. In a beautiful, scandalous irony, the cross was his enthronement where he was lifted up to rule and reign over God's new creation.
